Check out the previous post for 3 tools plus these 3 tools that 6 amazing team building tools for your toolbox.
So far, I’ve covered 6 great tools you can use in your next meeting.
(Posts linked in the comments 😊 )
Let’s look at 3 more and take your facilitating to the next level!
To make your event-based learning events more effective, try these 3 tools:
Team Consensus
Story Telling
Whip (no, not Indiana Jones-style)
Having a team consensus means that everyone has equal weight when it comes to group decision-making. Everyone gets their say and team members compromised and agree to a “morphed” version of the original idea.
Storytelling is a powerful tool in any context, and especially in event-based learning. Share a story that relates to the learning objective and encourage learners to do the same. The stories will help learners see the practical applications of the content.
Whip. Wait, what? Whip is like a quick “round robin”. You encourage a quick one-word or sentence response from everyone in the group pertaining to a certain subject or idea. This is a great way to connect ideas and generate a lot of information all at once.
Try these three tools during your next event-based learning session.
I guarantee you’ll see improved team engagement and learner motivation.
What are you waiting for? Let me know how it goes!
