Engaging content for team building doesn't just happen ... it is carefully organized - find out how.

In the last post (linked in comments 😊), we talked about the importance of making sure that your instructional content is relevant to your learners.

In doing so, you can help your team stay engaged and motivated.

To keep your team members engaged in a learning environment, ask yourself if your content is:

  1. Relevant

  2. Organised

  3. Interesting

  4. Current

  5. Interactive

Today we’ll focus on how you can make sure your instructional content is organised.

Disorganised content is distracting, so keep it minimalistic. Focus on clear communication, uncluttered slides and other learning materials, and make sure you have a clear learning path.

To further improve your content’s organization, try this:

  • Make your slides neat and easy to read

  • Use expected formats and fonts for your materials

  • Use small, well-timed learning segments so that the content can be mastered quickly

  • Use logical metaphors to help learners connect and categorize the content

When your content is organised, your learners will be able to process and develop the information in a logical and structured way.

This will help them apply the information they learn to relevant problems in their lives and thus, increase their engagement and motivation.

And who doesn’t want that?

In the next post, we’ll cover number 3: making your content interesting.

How do you make sure your team members stay engaged while learning?
