3 fun activities to increase learner engagement on your team

Check out these 3 fun team building activities you can do to enhance your team building design and delivery.

It’s no secret – people learn better when they are engaged.

And people engage more when they are interested.

So, what can you do as a team leader, instructor, or manager to keep your team engaged?

Give these three engagement tools a try!

1. Passing Notes

• Have each learner write a problem at the top of a piece of paper

• Give each learner a paper, have them write a quick response/solution, then fold the paper inwards to cover the answer

• Pass the paper clockwise until everyone has had a chance to respond and it reaches its start position

• Share the best responses and answers

2. Balloon Explosion

• Hey, adults love balloons too!

• Write a question on a piece of paper and stuff it inside a balloon

• Fill the balloons with helium (or just air is fine)

• Pass the balloons or have the learners choose/catch their own

• Have the learners deflate their balloons and answer the questions

3. Word Cloud

• This one is great for online learning environments

• Login to http://www.wordle.net/create to update your collected text
